Finally, I'm trying this well-known sunscreen which has been a favorite among people including in the skincare community. I didn't know what made it so beloved because I honestly was not interested at first. However, I checked on Sociolla and it offered a 30 percent discount for it 😆So why the heck not? Everything with a discount interests me, and I bought it without hesitation. The only question left is whether this sunscreen becomes my nightmare or literally a holy grail for me.
In terms of packaging, this is decent. It's minimal, not tacky, just simple. In fact, it is considered travel-friendly because it's convenient to carry everywhere. The cap is also easy to open, you can just rotate it and there you go! I personally love the tube though. Even though the tip looks big but it doesn't create a mess when you squeeze the tube. The product comes out with no problem and I can control how much I wanna take it out without overflowing.
Okay, let's talk about the texture. Little bit yellowish color in it with not so thick texture, but it feels watery for a sunscreen that I didn't expect before. Once you spread it, you can feel a refreshing sensation on your skin and blends easily without piling up.

This is definitely a chemical sunscreen which you can see in the ingredients, no titanium dioxide, and zinc dioxide can be found as UV protection. I'm not surprised because this is lightweight, not like typical physical sunscreen. But like I said, it's just too watery for a sunscreen. I thought it would be too dewy and slick. Instead, it moisturizes my skin and gives dewy finish without looking too shiny. Most importantly, no white case at all! It's well absorbed and not sticky even after hours of applying.
Thank God I don't have any bad reaction because you can see in the ingredient list, alcohol is the second ingredient that can potentially irritate your skin, watch out for anyone who has dry skin type and sensitive skin concern 😉 Another thing that I don't like is THE SCENT - It's too strong! I can't stand it because it's just too distracting at first, but oddly enough once you blend it, the smell will be gone in a couple minutes. Still, I'm not a fan 😅
This sunscreen makes me conflicted so much, I like it for giving me hydration and healthy-looking skin without feeling any greasiness, but on the other hand, there are few things I don't think works for me such as alcohol and its scent. Well, as long as it works on my skin, I don't think it is a huge problem for now. It's not my most favorite product but not my least either. I can say that this can be an alternative when I can't find cheaper but decent sunscreen in the market. So, what do you think? You can share your thoughts in the comment section below!
Have a nice day 💖
